A Doll is produced: "Luisa" by Gisela Scheper Modelling is carried out initially - nothing else but pure sculpturing! From the model, tests are made to see how the finished doll might look later on Everything ok! Construction of the mould can begin! What is demanded of the mould construction: the more complicated the model, the more difficult the construction of the mould as well as the removal from the mould later on! The first porcelain pour is successful! Here this is celebrated by the team Scheper/Schmidt with champagne. Grinding and preparation is now carried out, then follows the first baking! Only now - assuming of course all goes well - can painting and various coloured borders be applied. Finally, the doll is assembled. Now follows the needlework according to individual designs. And naturally "Luisa" also receives a small, likewise handmade, little doll! Complete: "Luisa" No.1
